Also, take a close look at what you are eating each day and make sure that is well within your suggested diet plan. Perhaps seeing a dietician might be a good idea for you just to make sure that you are not eating too much, eating the wrong foods or spacing your meals inappropriately.
Also, if you are not currently exercising, ask your doctor about starting a mild to moderate exercise plan. Doing this kind of low impact exercise can burn off excess blood sugar and bring your numbers down. However, if you do exercise that is too strenuous, it can cause higher blood sugar which is why it is important to ask your doctor before you start any fitness plan.
