Hi Tasha. I would recommend
Hi Tasha. I would recommend you look in your community for any support groups for diabetics. If there are any, you should get involved. Exercise is the key to lowering blood pressure, blood sugar and losing weight. Also, look into seeing a nutritionist who may can offer suggestions on foods you can eat that are filling to you but not causing the glucose to elevate. The proper nutrition is key in many cases of diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity, and high cholesterol. Find someone that you can trust to offer helpful yet meaningful information. Perhaps your doctor could make a recommendation. Good luck to you! Get busy now working to get these numbers under control.... Motivation is the key to exercise so find some activity that you enjoy that doesn't feel like "exercise"----like dancing, walking, swimming. Any of these can help lower blood sugar.
